I will be teaching another one-day Oil & Palette Knife workshop at the Lynchburg Art Club on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 9:30am to 3:00pm.

12 student limit – we currently have 11 people registered, space for 1 more!

This workshop will include a demo to illustrate my technique for painting with oil and palette knives. It will also include a 50-stroke exercise and hands on practice with some individual instruction. I will provide each student with a 12×16 gesso board and a palette knife (size T19).

I will demonstrate this technique using oil, but acrylic can also be used. This workshop is intended for those who have some experience with painting in oil. No palette knife experience is necessary.

A roll of paper towels
Additional gesso board or canvas, preferably larger than 6×6.
A photo of a landscape, cityscape or whatever you enjoy painting.

One palette knife (size T19), 12×16 Ampersand 1/8″ gesso board, still life set-ups
